Senior AI/ML Engineer

About the Role

As a Senior AI/ML Engineer at Kopfus, you will be at the forefront of building intelligent systems that power real business outcomes. You'll work hands-on with large language models, design scalable ML architectures, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver production-grade AI solutions for our enterprise clients across healthcare, fintech, and edtech verticals.

What You'll Do

• Design, develop, and deploy production-grade ML pipelines and inference systems
• Fine-tune and optimize LLMs (GPT, Llama, Mistral) for domain-specific applications
• Build and maintain RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) systems at scale
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to define AI feature requirements
• Implement MLOps best practices: model versioning, A/B testing, monitoring, and drift detection
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to engineering culture and best practices
• Conduct technical design reviews and architecture discussions

What You Bring

• 4-7 years of experience in ML engineering or applied AI roles
• Strong proficiency in Python, PyTorch/TensorFlow, and modern ML frameworks
• Hands-on experience with LLM fine-tuning, prompt engineering, and RAG architectures
• Experience deploying models in production with containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
• Strong understanding of NLP, computer vision, or recommendation systems
• Proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS SageMaker, GCP Vertex AI, or Azure ML)
• B.Tech/M.Tech in Computer Science, AI/ML, or related field

Nice to Have

• Experience with vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, Qdrant)
• Contributions to open-source ML projects
• Published research papers in ML/AI conferences
• Experience with real-time streaming ML pipelines
